As of early July, Upstate New York cleared all four phases of reopening, including construction and office settings. Make sure your company is in compliance by reading through the guidelines published by the state:
- Phase One Industry Guidance
- Phase Two Industry Guidance
- Phase Three Industry Guidance
- Phase Four Industry Guidance
We believe that the safety guidance includes many of the best practices that our members have already implemented -- including distancing, face coverings and extra sanitizing.
Items of Note:
- All businesses have to read and affirm the guidelines.
- Each re-opening business must develop a written Safety Plan outlining how its workplace will prevent the spread of COVID-19. The safety plan must be retained at each of your jobsites and must made available to the New York State Department of Health (DOH) or local health or safety authorities in the event of an inspection.
- There is mandatory pre-screening before work each day and documented review of that paperwork.
Take care to review for your specific operations.
