I no longer wish to receive your emails. At the bottom of our email bulletins, there is an option to unsubscribe. Please click on “SafeUnsubscribe” and follow the instructions. Or, contact Laura Regan and she will help you.
Our company wants to share news about us. What can we do? Please contact Laura Regan with your staff promotions, new hires, awards, community news or press releases.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
What courses do you offer? Eastern Contractors Association has been a dedicated source of knowledge, training and education for decades. Some of the courses we offer include OSHA 30-Hour, Basic Estimating, STP (Supervisor Training Program) and more. Please refer to our calendar of events here or contact Laura Regan and she will help you.
How do I register for a training class? How much does a class cost? Please click here to find the course you are interested in attending and you may register online. Details about the class as well as its cost will be posted. If you need help registering, contact Laura Regan and she will be happy to assist.
Are your training rooms available for us? Yes. We have two rooms available for our members to rent at a nominal fee. The large room seats 75 in a classroom set up and maxes out around 100 without tables. Our smaller conference room seats 16 around the table. Both have A/V equipment for you to use. Please contact Laura Regan at (518) 869-0961 and she will answer any questions you have about renting one of our spaces.
EVENTS
What kind of events do you have throughout the year? We hold a variety of networking events throughout the year, including our Annual Reception, Steak Roast, Golf Outing, Sporting Clays and more. Please refer to our calendar of events here.
Our company is interested in sponsoring one of your events. Who do we contact? Please contact Laura Regan to learn more about our sponsorship opportunities.
FINANCE
When are our dues invoiced? We invoice our current members each year in December with Net 60-day payment terms. New members pay at the time you join with your dues prorated in your second year.
Can I pay an invoice with a credit card? Yes, you may. We accept all forms of credit card payments. Please call Valerie Howard and she will process your payment.
I received a statement, but I am not sure what it is for? Please contact Valerie Howard and he will help you.
LABOR RELATIONS
We assist with negotiating labor contracts, moderating the important items you need to succeed. We can counsel on matters related to unions, assist with Department of Labor issues, and more. Please contact Todd Helfrich or Laura Regan and they will be happy to help you.
MEMBERSHIP
We are interested in becoming a member and want to learn more about your benefits. Please contact Laura Regan and she will meet with you to answer any questions you may have.
How much are your membership dues? We have five membership categories so your dues are based on your type of organization. Professional Service members pay $375 annually. Suppliers pay $425 annually. Subcontractors dues are $500 and Mechanical Contractors are $600. Please contact us if you are a general contractor and we will help determine your dues.
We are contractors but are not signatory with any union. Can we still join? No. Membership in ECA for contractors who perform work on job sites requires that you be signatory with at least one Building Trades Union. Non-union contractors are not eligible for membership. If you are only interested in Planroom services, please contact Dustin Henry.
PLANROOM
We would like a demonstration of your planroom before we invest in it. Who should we contact? Please contact Dustin Henry and he will set up a time for the demonstration.
We have a project we’d like to place in your Planroom. How can we do that? Please contact Dustin Henry. He will take your information and will instruct on how to also send us your plans and specs.
How do we send you plans/specs? Please click here to be directed to an external webpage capable of allowing large files to be transferred. If you need assistance, please contact Dustin Henry.
How much does your planroom cost? We offer two levels – basic and upgrade. Please contact Dustin Henry and he will help you determine the best option for you.
Do you provide onsite training for the planroom? Yes. We can either come to your office to train your staff or you are welcome to visit our offices. Please contact Dustin Henry to set up a time for training.
We are having trouble logging into the online planroom. Who should we contact? Please contact Dustin Henry and he will help you.
Can we order copies of plans/specs? Yes. Please contact Dustin Henry and he will print the copies you need and let you know when they will be ready to pick up.
What are the planroom hours? Our physical planroom located at 6 Airline Drive in Albany, NY is open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. We are closed for certain national holidays. Please click here to see the list of scheduled closings.
SAFEY & HEALTH
We received an OSHA fine or citation. Can you help? Yes, ECA can help you. Please contact Laura Regan and she will assist you.
How can we make sure our jobsite is OSHA compliant? Please contact Laura Regan and she will help set up a time for a site inspection.
We would like to conduct safety training programs for our employees. Can you help? ECA has a large meeting room available in our building that can be used for you to conduct training programs for your employees. ECA also has a list of companies (ECA members!) that provide training on a variety of topics. Contact Laura Regan for more information.
