Since the beginning of 2024, ECA’s Online Planroom has deployed various enhancements, including converting all bidding documents to PDFs and launching a new blueprint viewer. These new features have been very well received by member employers and those employees who use the Planroom each day.

On November 1, 2024, ECA will launch our long-anticipated estimating and take-off features within the blueprint viewer. These new tools have been designed to meet or exceed the features of other estimating and take-off software programs which cost thousands of dollars.  At a minimum, we believe you will find the new estimating and take-off technology to be incredibly useful, accurate, and efficient.

Investing resources into our Online Planroom is a continuous endeavor, designed to remain on top of the ever-changing technology to meet the demands of construction industry employers and their employees. 2025 promises to be an exciting year as our platform developer is already working on additional enhancements to be deployed, including the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI), additional estimating and take-off features, and a unique service for subcontractors and/or manufacturers’ representatives.
