ECA Launching New Online Planroom on March 2! Eastern Contractors Association is excited to announce the launch of our next generation of the Online Planroom effective March 2, 2015. An important component of the development process of updating the e-planroom was incorporating many of the suggestions users have made over the years. In addition to the existing features, the system now includes a wide range of new features designed to make the utilization of the system more user-friendly and efficient.
Login Information: Up until midnight on March 1st, you will be able to login to our OLD online planroom by licking on the "Planroom Login" button in the top right-hand corner of this page. Starting on March 2nd, you will be able to login to our NEW online planroom using the same login credentials you use now. You will NEED TO ADD the following to the end of your login for it to work: -NY. Note that this -NY needs to be capitalized.
Note that your credentials will not work to login to the new planroom until Monday morning, and you will no longer be able to access the old planroom after Sunday night. Just in case we have provided the links below. GET LOGINS FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES if necessary:Some companies share the same login for everyone in their company. You will no longer be able to do this with the new system – people will be automatically kicked out if more than one user tries to login. You can get unique logins for as many people as you have employees, so simply send the unique usernames and passwords you want for each employee to judyp@ecainc.org. If you already have unique logins for each employee you are all set! All logins from the old system will automatically carry over to the new system!

Before March 1st: 1.WRITE DOWN YOUR SEARCH CRITERIA: After the new system launches on March 2nd, you will no longer have access to our old system. In the new system you will need to setup your searches so that you still receive nightly planroom emails just like you do now. We suggest writing down what is in each of your searches so that you can more easily setup your new ones. We are offering training sessions at ECA to help (find the schedule below) and we are offering online help videos on how to setup your searches for the new system, found here. 2.PRINT YOUR TRACKED PROJECTS: After the new system launches, you will need to re-track the projects you have tracked currently. To make this easy we suggest you print your current list of tracked projects before the end of the work week on Friday February 27th, just before the new system is launched. We are offering training sessions at ECA to help (find the schedule below) and we are offering online help videos on how to track projects on the new system, found here. 3.COME TO A NEW WEBSTE TRAINING: We are offering preview trainings for the new website (see below schedule). If you have the planroom link saved to your computer for ease of access you will want to re-bookmark this new link. You can use THE SAME LOGIN you had before. Our system can be used form any mobile device, so you can easily look at plans form the jobsite. 6.COME TO A TRAINING FOR EXTRA HELP! We will also be offering training sessions for extra help once the new system is live.

Reservations are not necessary, but RSVP's are appreciated. Walk-ins are always welcome.
